Matosinhos Beach
Located right in the city, with a large beach and full of places right on or near the beach to have a pre-session or post-session coffee, beer or snack food, Matosinhos is a great kite spot when winds have a southern direction component (SSE, S, SSW, SW)
Leça da Palmeira Beach
Located just on the north side of the Leixões shipping Port, this kite-spot boasts a large beach with with cafe’s on and near the beach. Good waves (often large) and enjoyed best with a proper NW wind direction.
Cabedelo do Douro Beach
Located immediately south of the Douro River, is a beautiful seaside beach at the mouth of the Douro river.
